SCULPTURE COMPONENTS 25 significant works of master craftsmen & young talented artists FIVE SENSES sight, sound , touch, smell & taste thro’ colour, texture, scale, form & fragrance SPACE & SCALE: Undulated sloping rocky land provides fascinating display spaces on various levels. sloped view of entire landform from entry point adds to the ideal setting. Vast 20 acre site is aptly fragmented as well designed theme zones. CIRCULATION: The design with out routine hierarchy of spaces or forced form enable the visitors their own choice in transiting the spaces .Ascending & descending spiral walkways lead to distinctively planned areas on different levels/slopes. FEEL OF SPACE: Sense & feel of spaces created with combinations of openness/ enclosures / covered/ semi covered/axial/ spiral/level differences/shaded/ reflected etc .The natural settings offer excellent venues for leisure & recreation. CONCEPT: Blending with the total form of landscape, the soft &, hard landscape together with Sculptural elements offer variety of colour, texture, scale, form, shade & fragrance to provide experiences of Five Senses -- touch ,smell, sight, sound & feel. PRIME ATTRACTIONS: 1) The garden is studded with 25 significant works of master sculptors of India perhaps the only largest commission of art for public in a park/garden. Besides a large no. of works of talented young students of Delhi college of Art also treats the visitors.2)Cluster of plant courts – Bamboo, cacti, palms, herbal & tree museum with specific hardscape detailing to match the type of plants. Solar energy park sustaining the functioning of the exhibits (bus, slide, drum, hut, weighing machine & other renewable source exhibits) has been recorded in Llimica book of records.3) fragrant Garden is a walk /Trial of fragrance along a wide range of fragrant trees & shrubs. 4) Amphi theatre & Open exhibition area with colonnade for display/conduct of art work shops, food/music festivals dances & film shows. PLANTING & DESIGN: planting is complementing the overall design concept. 200 species of plants to give colour, texture, fragrance, shade, coolness. areas unsuited for planting have been left undisturbed with natural vegetation/shade/ground cover. The planting design in homoney with the natural character of the site strike a contrast to normal manicured landscape themes of designed parks/gardens

I am a resident of 41, Bhavishya Nidhi Enclave, New Delhi, India. I feel the boundary has included Essel House at southern part of the map (Big square building). The square boundary should be moved a bit towards the north. BN E is in fact a triangular plot which is distinct in the satellite map.(10.11.2006)
