Recognizable, yes, but the C-119 wasn't "affectionately called the Packet", because the Fairchild C-82 Packet was a different plane entirely.

History of the temple is given below
In the year 1989, a few days before the start of the Mandalam-Makaravilakku festival (that takes place across the globe every year in the winter months of November and December - which incidentally is the period when devotees voluntarily observe austerities and abstain from cardinal pleasures before undertaking their pilgrimage to the famous Sabarimala Temple on the Western Ghats of Kerala), a few devotees got together and organized a one-day puja including bhajans and annadaanam dedicated to The Almighty, All Merciful Lord Ayyappa in Rohini, then an upcoming sub city of the national capital. A similar Pooja, bhajan and annadanam were performed during the same period next year, and then onwards it became a regular event every year with participation of more and more devotees from Rohini and adjacent areas. Eventually, the idea for setting up of a temple with Lord Ayyappa as the main deity evolved and as a first step, a socio-cultural-religious-philanthropic society named "Sree Dharma Shasta Sewa Samajam, Rohini" was formed in accordance with the Registrar of Societies Act, 1860, with Shree V.R. Soman as its founder president.
Brahmashree Thazhamon Madam Kantaru RajeevaruThantri, the revered Thantri of Sabarimala Temple laid the foundation stone on March 09, 1997 for construction of the temple with Swami Ayyappa as deity in the earmarked plot opposite Pocket F-26, Sector 7, Rohini, Delhi 110085. Astrological guidance for construction of the main shrine and the two associated shrines – one each for Lord Ganesa and MA Durga were rightly provided by the renowned astrologer Shri Edavalam Narayanan Nampoothiri. Chengannur Shree Sadasivan Achari, the eminent sculptor cast the idol of Lord Ayyappa in panchloha and those of Lord Ganesa and Ma Durga in granite, fully following the traditional customs and norms. Kanippayyur Shree Krishnan Nambuthiripad rendered his knowledge expertise for the temple vastu to be in tis perfect order.
With immense cooperation and assistance from inestimable devotees from different parts of the capital and outside areas, the construction could be completed in less than two years and the 'prana prathishtha' (installation of the three idols) was performed on 16th April 1999 (on star Aswati day in the Malayalam month Medam and year 1174).The consecration ceremony was performed by the revered thantri Brahmashree Thazhamon Madam Kantaru Rajeevaru himself with assistance from Shri Nedumudi Eswaran Nampoothiri, Shri C.S. Bhattathiri, Perumbavoor Shri Vasudevan Nampoothiri, Shri Kurichi Sreekant and the then priest of the temple Shri Neelakantan Nampoothiri. After the consecration, the temple was set-open fully for public from 19th April, 1999. Since then, all daily pujas, rituals and the annual festival (7 days duration between April 01 & 07 every year) are all taking place with all religious spirit and fervour absolutely uninterrupted – all due to Swami's blessings only !
The Navagraha installation and consecration took place during the first annual festival celebrated from 1st April to 7th April in the year 2000. A Laksharchana was conducted for the first time in the premises of the temple on November 11, 2001 under the auspices of Thantri Rajeevaru, who was in Delhi specially for this grand event. An auditorium, built post the prana prathishta, was also inaugurated by revered temple thantri at this point in time of the premises brimming with divine vibrations.
