    This is one of the few villages left in Delhi with its Rich Heritage. The Lifestyle & Per Capita Income show that it is not about living in a hut. On the outskirts, we have one of the biggest market in Asia for Ceramic Tiles, Marble & other Construction materials. So, this is a village flodded with big showrooms & with its booming economy, the residents enjoy a much better PPP(Purchasing Power Parity) than the rest of Delhi. All these factors make it a perfect place for attracting thounsands of economic immigrants. Its my humble request to remove the word shanty accomodations. I have spent precious 27 years of my life here & could not find anything shanty about it..... Thanks Gautam Shokeen (a proud ex-resident of MPK)
